I
love the movies. The story is so inspring and great. Even though it's totally fiction, it has a lot of real-life elements to it and touches on the depths and intricacies of human nature, w/ the timeless theme of good v. evil...the strength you can find w/i to overcome obstacles...and true friendship. Very good characters also. The books are on my "to read" list.

I thought the movies were very well made, too. Oftentimes a movie that could be really good is ruined by bad acting, inconsistent music, etc. But w/ these movies, the music matched the moods perfectly and the acting was superb. I don't like them to a point of obsession, though. I've just never really been one to obsess over one specific thing...probably b/c I am too indecisive, lol...that and I just like a wide variety of things.
So, you are obviously into the fantasy genre...have you read Eragon and Eldest? I'm really looking forward to the movie. And what about the Prydain Chronicles? That's what I'm reading right now. I started the series, like, 6 yrs. ago and never got around to finishing them. Now I own all 5. They're really good, but a lot shorter than I remember
