Loop Closed

Loop 100 is closed while they re work the pads. They closed it Monday and started ripping up the concret.

Well that's interesting...we are coming there next Friday and have a preferred site reserved - 100-300 section, won't know which till we get there. Might make it a bit tight if that whole loop is closed. I wonder how loud all that work will be if we get in the 200s... Wasn't happy to read that this morning!!!

Not real bad, they are working everyday but quit before most people get back from the parks. We are in loop 200 and its not a big deal.

Can you tell if they are expanding the site size (footprint)?

Can you tell if they are leaving the coquina/ sand pad?

Keep sleuthing for us please.

We are in the 200 loop. The noise isn't too bad and our site is fairly close to the 100 loop. There were some cement mixers pouring cement today onto some of the pads which were dug up. Doesn't look like it is changing the size of the pads at all. I just walked over and looked at the site closest to the opening of the loop. New concrete, no change in the shells. So far, we can only see that they are working on 2 pads...could be more, but the loop is totally closed to traffic. My husband thought he overheard the workers commenting about water repair so that may be a part of it.

Wow,

We just left site 103 on Sunday. I thought the pad was fine. No cracks or anything obvious. My sewer was clogged when I went to dump my black tank. Thankfully they have the sink catch basin or it would have been a mess.

We did a lot of walking around the loop and nothing jumped out as needing major repair. Certainly not to justify ripping up concrete and pouring new.

If only I could get my city to respond as well to the HUGE pot holes and ruts we have.
