Loop 300 Water main Break

Well we had a huge water main bust in front of our loop last night. According to DH it's still flooding the street and no end in site. They cut the water off at about 8pm and it's still not on. I guess I won't have to worry about that laundry today

They turned it back on about 1 hour ago... sorry it took so long to update, had to take care of necessities. (like filling up the fresh water tank and dumping other tank). Not sure if it's on for good or not but we hope so! Merry Christmas!

Wonder if it had anything to do with the 200 Loop repair work earlier this week.

dunno, but they shut it off again. They are tearing up some of the road. Part of the yellow loop are shut off from bus traffic. DH said that it looked like a lake in front of our loop when he went up to the Tavern to fill our resort mugs this morning.

In 500 we got water back around 1:30-2 p.m. Workers had hoped for "late afternoon", so we are happy with the earlier service. Sorry you guys had to work on Christmas. Thanks for your sacrifice.

I think we shared a bus the other day. Or least Ken and your girls may have... Did you by chance have to get separated to wait on another bus a day or so ago? I honestly can't remember if it was yesterday or some other one...

I agree that these guys need a HUGE thanks. I feel very badly for them but they did it with much grace!

We departed this morning. I am currently on my way across the panhandle...

I didn't get to meet any of the fort fiends.... not enough Fort days.
