Loop 1400

Hello.......can anybody tell me about the 1400 loop? Thanks

Hi Patty.

1400 is round.

:lmao:

Seriously, it's a Premium loop designed as an inner and outer circle. People like it because it's close to the campfire, Bike Barn, Pool, and Trading Post. People don't like it because the sites can be closer together, a little tight getting in/out of (especially the inner circle), and loud from the movie.

Personally when I've stayed in a Premium loop I prefer 900 or 1000 for the "close to" reasons above and they don't have the "don't likes" as strongly. So everyone is different.

The last time I was at the Fort we were put into the 1400 (inner) Loop - 'Little Bear Path'. We really liked the site we were in (1451).

I was afraid I would have trouble backing in our 36' 5th wheel because it was in the inner loop, but it ended up easier than some of the other sites/loops I have been in because there were NO sites across from me and thus no cars/trucks parked right at the end of the sites.

My biggest problem getting in a site has been from too many vehicles in the sites across from my site that often are partially parked on the Loop road. So I liked our site in the inner 1400 Loop.

Depending on your family and what they like- I think 1400 is the hidden gem of the Fort. We stayed there over Christmas, and we could actually sit on lawn chairs outside our RV and watch the movie. Better yet- we could just carry our chairs over there and makes smores, do the sing along, have some nachos, and THEN watch the movie! :goodvibes Our kids were 8 and 11 at that time, and we were close enough we felt very comfortable letting them walk over there while we cleaned up the campsite before joining them- if we called them they were so close they could've heard us as long as there wasn't a lot of noise.

It's also right by the pool, which for our family was HUGE- kids love water- enough said. :thumbsup2

The turkeys came thru regularly, and the other campers were wonderful. We have a 39 foot motorhome, and had no trouble backing into our outside loop. And we had bikes so getting around was easy and fun!

The 1400 was one of our first with a popup camper and kids. We loved being close to the pool in the middle of the summer. Now we like the 1300 loop. Sites are a little bigger, but still close to the pool and a little quieter. We have been across the street from the pool and that worked out well also.
