loop 100

We are going to The Fort March 17th - 23rd and requested the 100 loop. We would like to be close to the marina and do not have any pets. We stayed in the 1500 loop last March in the pop up and loved it! We have since upgraded to a travel trailor and cannot stay in 1500 antmore. What are the best sites to attempt to request or the worst to avoid? March cannot get here soon enough!

You can request specific sites but there is a low chance of getting them. The way the Fort downloads daily arrival data means you can request, certainly, but if some one is on it or still on the site you want, they aren't going to kick them off.

I was in loop 100 this past April in a popup in site 127 (outside next to the entrance road). If you request 100 loop you should be glad to get anything in it (inside/outside/etc).

We will be there in March 2014 also and have a Preferred reserved. Even if you are in loop 200 there are plusses to that. It's down close to the beach like 100 but doesn't have folks cutting through the loop from 400, 500, or others to walk to the beach boats (or back from them at night).

Don't get too wrapped around the axle on a specific site. If you requested a Preferred and get a Preferred, it will all be good. Don't waste energy on specific sites. (That's my opinion and I stand by it).

You'll be leaving the day we arrive. I'll be waving as I check in.

We stayed in site 232 Thanksgiving week and had a great time. As Bama Ed stated, 200 loop is close to the marina, Hoop De Doo, Trails End and the Trading Post. Very little foot traffic in that loop. Short walk to a comfort station and a bus stop.

We have requestwd loops in the past (but not sites) while we have gott'n loops we requested and we know folk who lotta times get what they request,,,for the past 3 visits to the Fort we haven't been able to get any loops we requested.

Reck'n I'm not hold'n my mouth right or something.
