Katiebell-
We just went to Cap'n Jacks in late March and at that time adding the Lobster Tail on was still included in the dining plan. The only thing we couldn't do was add a tail onto the twin tails.
The folks you speak to on the telephone aren't at the restaurant itself, and the only way you can know for sure is ask your own server. Be prepared for it to go either way.when I called this morning to change dates for LTT for the MNSSHP i asked about the lobster @ Cap n Jacks, if it is on e the menu on the DDP, CM said that she didn't believe that lobster would be covered under DDP & that you could pay extra
My recommendation is to anywhere else for seafood, and go to Cape May for anything other than seafood. The seafood on the buffet there is really incredibly disappointing, as most buffet seafood is.she did mention Cape May Cafe for buffet seafood, what does anyone think of that place?????
I read that menu as saying that lobster, itself, is being discontinued from the menu. The second link shows the menu as of 4/11, and under "add a tail" is specifies that it ends 4/15/07. Like I said, I don't even eat lobsterBut for those who do...I wonder if they could request the "add a tail" as their appetizer?

Yup, but by the same token, that makes that restaurant a target, too.Hmm...that would be really weird for them to do. Cap'n Jack's claim-to-fame, so to speak, is the distinction of being the only 1 TS restaurant that offers lobster on the DDP.
And, as Katie indicated, even with paying extra for the tail, after April 15. Could be. But if they're really getting rid of just "add a tail" then that's surely got to be as a reaction to how guests are using the Dining Plan no?I don't know...the way I'm reading it is that the twin tails are available as an entree, you just can't order another entree and then add a tail without paying extra for the tail.
I don't get it. Why not just charge Dining Plan patrons for the add-on, just like they have always charged cash guests for the add-on? Why get rid of it for both, rather than just following what has always been the policy stated in the menu? But it ended up being too costly for the restaurant to include them in the meals for no additional charge, and so the change.
