WooHoo!! Just got our cruise documents for July 17. We booked a catagory 11, but are assigned room 2012. DS-almost 3 will be thrilled with the view! I'm hoping we have smooth sailing, as I do get motion sickness, but I'll be packing the Bonine and some candied ginger, just in case. From the DCL info, it looks like we're not quite below The Cadillac Lounge, or just on the edge of it. Any thoughts on this?:)

COOL!!!!

Congrats on your upgrade.
You're pretty far forward on the ship, I've never cruised that far forward so I can't say to much about the motion. The ships sick bay also has bonine for the taking for free last time I was down there.
Happy Sailing.

Did you really just get them?? I am hoping ours will come in well before 2 weeks before we go! I think I would be in heart failure if they came the week before! (ok it's technically a week and 2 days but still!!!)

We are extremely fortunate to be FL residents and qualify for resident rates. We just booked this cruise two weeks ago, when the latest FL rate offer was advertised in the paper. With DH's job, it is difficult for us to do any long-range planning, so we depend on last-minute deals. Not sure how this program works, but I would assume they are trying to fill leftover staterooms.

No need to worry about getting your docs in time!:D

I also hope our documents come before one week out. Especially since we are leaving a full week before the cruise to stay at WDW. I'm hoping we receive them at least 3 weeks before!

#2124 porthole

Congratulations on being one of the lucky chosen few! ;)
Our gang stayed on deck 2 and loved the convenience.
You are going 2 luv the huge porthole!! Enjoy!

Good for you congrats.

Hi upgrade fairies, please come visit my reservation LOL

Thank you for the WONDERful picture, 4Nana! What a great shot. I had no idea the portholes are that big! DS is absolutely going to love it!:earsboy:

I feel like I've won the lottery. I'm sorry I'm gushing about this, but I'm so excited! This is my first resort-type vacation. When I was 10, my father and I drove from MA to FL to visit family friends in Bartow. We went to WDW for the day. That was when they were talking about building EPCOT! Since then, all my vacations have been either visiting family or camping. This is such a treat. DH is already talking about trying to book the 7 day Western early next year!

moinab....I feel your excitement!!

If your porthole is the size that ours was, it will be appx. 3 or 4ft.! Your 3 yo will probably be able to stand on the window edge
(it does not open) and look at the ocean waves. Your family is going to have so much fun. I hope you enjoy every moment getting spoiled, being waited on hand and foot.
