Disney Cruise Line Itinerary Update For The Week of Sept. 29

Based on the most recent forecasts from the National Weather Service, the Disney Magic itinerary has been modified this week to maintain a safe distance away from Tropical Storms Lili and Kyle.

The Disney Magic departed from Port Canaveral on schedule on Saturday afternoon. The ship visited Disney's Castaway Cay on Sept. 29, and arrangements have been made for the ship to sail the following itinerary:

Sunday: Castaway Cay
Monday: Day at Sea
Tuesday: San Juan
Wednesday: St. Thomas
Thursday: Day at Sea
Friday: Castaway Cay
Saturday: Port Canaveral

***Terrible thing storm are. MAKING you go to Castaway Cay two times on one week******
:smooth:

Isn't that just the saddest news?
Spending TWO days at CC.......
Wish I was on this week's sailing.

Wow!!! That's a nice itinerary. San Juan and CC instead of St. Martin. When we were on the Magic in 2001 it was unable to dock at Castaway Cay due to high winds and current, so we had three days at sea instead of two. We only docked at St. Martin and St. Thomas. You can go ship crazy with so many sea days.

On the other hand, I'm sure people were looking forward to some of their excursions in St. Martin, so I hope they can make them up somehow in San Juan.

I never get sick of sea days!!!! I just love being onboard. I would love to do a trans atlantic and have 5 seas days!!!!

This was the Western week. Should have been Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Next week is the Eastern again with St. Martin and St. Thomas. Wonder if next week's cruise will be impacted?

Not by any of the currently named storms. There is a tropical wave just east of the Windward Islands. It may become a tropical depression or tropical storm within the next day or two.

Can I just say that CC is the best experience ever and if I could go there twice in on week, I would be so psyched! Have a ball!
