Looks like rain on Saturday

I am interested to see if it really does cut down on attendance at the parks. Kind of sad though because I have a feeling a lot of rides we want to go on (mostly fantasyland) will be closed. Which with all the refurbs doesn't leave much for a little toddler to ride. :(

I'm going to be there just for the day, and I'm actually kind of excited. :) It does change my plans (was planning to hit a lot of the outdoor rides at DCA I missed before), but I think there's still plenty to do. In a way, it might actually cause me to slow down and just enjoy myself instead of racing to "fit everything in."

Note, too, that it's supposed to be pretty cool, and not just rainy.

I like a good rain at Disneyland, it helps with attendance, especially since I was expecting this weekend to be really bad. But my dapper day outfit and hair are scared of rain, so scared. Here's hoping it goes away by Sunday morning....

Yes, definitely NOT good news for Dapper Day!! I prayed for cooler weather, but I didn't ask for rain!! My Dapper Day hat won't hold up in the wet weather either. I wonder if I should get out the Scotch-guard?:worried:

I definitely don't think it would hurt to scotch guard it, as long as it doesn't compromise the amazing trim you have around yours.

Cheer comp this weekend at DCA. I expect with Dapper Days we will still see crowds.

I'm expecting it to be crowded, despite the rain. But I have my cute pink rain jacket, and plan to do some offbeat things like shop, visit the art gallery, etc. I just want to be back in Disneyland!

I've only experienced rain once while visiting both DLR and DCA and it did cut back on the ride lines.

I've been during the rain a lot. Usually the mornings are empty, but later in the day it still gets crowded. We were supposed to go this weekend but are thinking of rescheduling now. If it were just the adults and my older child, rainy days are great, but it can be a huge inconvenience with toddlers.

Our plan is to get there right when DL opens and leave in the afternoon for a nap since the park is open so late. So it would be nice if the bulk of the rain happened in the afternoon. The rest of our days look decent so I'm happy about that! Just not sure what we will do if a lot of the fantasy land rides are closed.

Oh, man. I hope it doesn't rain. Normally it wouldn't be an issue for me, but my Dapper Day outfit is not really designed for rain, dang it all! Well...maybe I'll have to stick to lounges and drinking martinis in my dapper clothing, LOL.
