Rates are so high from july 3 and on. Is it due to the dropoff at a different location?

nothing less than 600 from 7 3 for two weeks (17th). over my budget

Go to Thrifty.com and use corporate # 004M001010 (the Orlando Magicard rate and available to all). I plugged in your dates (7/3-7/17/11) with pickup at MCO and drop-off at PBI. I see rates from $198/week (economy), $231/week (midsize) and $264/week (full size).
