I cant beleive you guys and the mouse patron missed the fact that they have cars PARKED ON THE GRASS. How dare they lmao. A few years ago we were at Darlington Provincial Park up here just outrside of Toronto. A big group of Holiday Ramblers came in. Talk about a nice bunch of people. They were on there way to a big rally. My trailer looked so tiny becide there HUGE buses and 5th wheels.

I have a long but funny story about one of the couples in this group. Before I tell it, Marathon is a brand that converts the Prevost shell. Evidently there are several co.'s that do this.

I was standing at the Trails End check in counter yesterday and this older couple walk up. All the people in this group had a Marathon lanyard on with their name and where they are from.

The man says 2 people and Josephine says it will be a few minutes. There was actually a little line forming. The lady says oh we're not waiting, we're part of a special group and we're supposed to have special seating. Josie replied she didn't know of this. The husband told the woman to chill. we're at Disney. We're supposed to be relaxing. The woman said well I don't enjoy Disney anyway so I could care less. In the mean time she moaned about everything. I felt sorry for her husband because who knows how long this old bag has been like this.

After a couple people were seated she then again told Josie she was special and had something to do and needed to get going. I don't think she cared. About that time another couple from the group came out and she was telling them her sob story and the man says you should go sit with so and so there are empty seats at their table. So the lady tells Josie that and she says mam they won't take your order without being seated and the lady stormed past her. Josie said she'll be back. Sure enough the old bag comes out steaming. Are you ready for this? She said I need that white ticket you had. Josie said I already took you out of the system. She then said what is your name so I can put you back on the list. I was thinking I was going to be starting a idiot chokes TE reservation worker lol. I didn't hang around after that but it was very funny watching this woman think she was better than all the people waiting there. The old woman should move over to the GF lol.

There's a Prevost in the site next to us in the 1000 loop and it's beautiful. I'd love to see the inside of it. The couple are about 30 years old with a young daughter. I'm guessing it's probably not theirs.

Just ask almost everyone camping will let you in their Unit. I have been in lots of Prevost's and the people are very happy to show them off and it does not have to be a Prevost i have been in HM, travel Trailers and Popups

They were gone this morning. Almost like magic, poof and the sites were vacant.

We looped through on Saturday and they had the DD coffee table out again. I was so tempted to drive by and snatch one while not slowing down like a marathon runner grabbing a Gatorade, but I chickened out.

Very true! When we camped with our hybrid back in '06 I think we were the only hybrid in the Fort. Several people stopped and asked if they could take a look - including our neighbors with the super snazzy MHs. I joked that DH should start charging for "behind the scenes" tours.

Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed the photos and narration. If I won the lottery, I would definitely buy a beautiful diesel motorhome, but not a Prevost. So, it is just a matter of taste and not necessarily how much someone can afford to pay. Some celebrities, who can very well afford Prevosts, purchase Airstream travel trailers, while others purchase huge motorhomes.

Groups that generally camp together usually have something in common. There are Bounder groups, Winnebago groups, etc. So, it does not surprise me that Prevost owners also camp together. If a group of us here on the disboards contacted FW and asked for a particular loop with all of us together, as long as all campsites were paid for in advance, there is no doubt they would close-off the loop for us too - even though we don't all own Prevosts.

However, I enjoy my 27 ft travel trailer and am looking forward to our first stay at FW in December.
