Lookout Cay Bike Rentals

Are bike rentals available on Lookout Cay yet? We were there in November and they had not started bike rentals yet.

We were there in Feb still no bikes.

I believe someone that was just there said no bikes or 5 cay yet.

We’re were there last week, and still no bike rentals. It’s listed as an excursion in the app but it showed unavailable and the bike rental hut was not open on the island.

This has been an extremely slow roll-out of the private island....JMHO. We were there in November and it was striking how things presented as 'unfinished'. We thought that by now things would have picked up, but apparently not.

I suspect the lawyers saw the hills and shut down the idea of having guests on bikes. You could get some serious speed on those downhills and do some damage to yourself if you didn’t know what you were doing on a bike.

We were there 2 weeks ago. Still no bikes. Spoke with some workers who said they were working on the trails, saw one of them being worked on. Was told bikes would be there "soon". Not sure if soon is next month or 3 years from now. Same thing about the lookout Cay 5K. Was told they were working on the trail and it was going to happen. "soon" The pins and shirts were even for sale in the shop.

LOL we were told “soon” just weeks after inaugural cruise!
