I guess this is my best chance at getting what I need. I am new to this, so hear me out, and then feel free to give any advice you might have.
In April of 2004, my family of 5 is taking the 4 day Wonder Cruise from April 18-22. While we are on the cruise I would like to use some of our points to make a ressie for my sister's family of 7. So, I would need a 2 bedroom. THEN, on the 22nd, when we get off the ship, I wanted to book a 3 BGV at OKW for all 12 of us. Those dates would be from April 22-24th. The total points I would use for both rooms is 294.
Now, I have been told that confirming the GV's is very hard, and that my best chance to get a ressie is to ask for a trade over here. The 11 month window opens up May 24 for the GV ressie.
My original plan was to make a reservation for two 2 bedrooms at my home resort (BCV) at the 11 month window, and then change it to OKW atthe 7 month window. But, by doing it that way, i will probably NOT get a GV.
Help? anyone? You can post here or e-mail me if you can help me figure this out. TIA.
