What are your Disney pet peeves?

Those cars going down main st honking at you to get out of the way and those tracks on the floor 🤣 two more

World Showcase opens at 9:00, some stands do open later. Remy and Frozen are open early and late. Stands and stores close but that’s pretty much all parks.
Sorry but I beg to differ.. The country pavilions, restaurants (and yes, the festival booths) open at 11 AM with the exception of Remy & Frozen.
I also believe that all park stuff should be open until park close. Yep, I know it’d be a staffing issue.

The CMs sometimes set up a second and third row of ECVs to watch fireworks in the ADA area and then the “front row” family members arrive right before the show and “join” them by STANDING around them which blocks the view of other seated ECVs in the second and third row. Soooo irritating! Ranks right up there with the child put on the shoulders.

Having a DL Magic Key and seeing weekend reservations book up weeks in advance, requiring significant advance planning or the 11pm refresh lottery the night before as people cancel their reservations.

Not being able to room charge using mobile order. I want my Disney Inspire Visa credits. 🤣

Possibly a hot button topic, but the CMs at times aggressively yelling "fill in all available space" even when people have generally done so already. I find it especially irritating given Disney's own Accessibility Guide suggests that you encourage members of your party to help form space around you in line if you are neurodivergent and may need extra space. I have a neurodivergent son and we do not utilize DAS, so this one maybe hits close to home.

At counter service restaurants during busy times, when the tables are all full, people who stake out their table before receiving their food. It results in poor guests wandering around with trays of food getting cold while people chill at the tables. No issue with it when the restaurants aren't busy. Same with people who sit at tables for a long time after they finish their food and see people struggling to find somewhere to sit. Yes, it is your right to sit there, but helping your fellow park guests by moving along is just courtesy. I get this is a mixed one as people may have a genuine need to sit for a bit, but at least at DL with all the APs, I've seen people working with their laptops while people wander around with their trays. (I wish there were more air conditioned places to relax at the parks, but I digress.)

Oh! I thought of another one. The DL security screening being so inefficient compared to WDW. We still have manual bag checks for every single bag and sometimes you get a CM who wants to chit chat, too. The lines take FOREVER compared to WDW.

I was at Knott's today and they have the WDW system and it is so much faster.

I was told once it is due to the DL CM union not agreeing to the changes as they thought it would result in job losses, but no real source for that. I remain hopeful they will one day fix it.

Strollers especially being used as battering rams with Kids much too old to be in them. Now before I get any hate, I know some older/bigger kids need to use strollers due to various issues. However many parents pushing strollers think they can muscle in lines, etc. I have been run over, pushed out of the way, and cut off by parents running with strollers to get someplace "first".

And of course NO EE AT DLR.

My pet peeves... in no particular order:

1. Pools being undersized for the size of resort/use case of resort... I want to be able to swim... if I just wanted to stand around in water, I'd book a reservation on the Disney Wish...
2. Lightning Lanes now that they are paid still making me stand in line/wait a round... if I am paying, I want to walk right onto the ride.
3. Food at the MK... to get a decent meal, I have to leave and head to a hotel... surely they can do better....
4. Bus transportation not being frequent enough, Swan/Dolphin having to go to TTC for no apparent reason
5. The decrepit state of the Boardwalk... it looks like an abandoned city at this point...
6. Related to that... Disney abandoning areas, and being perfectly content letting them sit abandoned for years or decades (ex. Wonders of Life, Ariels' restaurant in Beach Club, Alien Encounter, etc.)

I noticed last time I went to DLR what poor condition the ride vehicles on mr toad were. Like the seats all scratched and banged up. We used to call that "bad show" when i worked on that attraction and Disney prided itself on the upkeep of the park and attractions. It made me sad to see this being acceptable these days.

Ok I probably sound so old fashioned and im obviously not and maybe gunna get ripped for this, but if you have facial hair, which again used to be unacceptable, please trim/groom and maintain and follow what used to be Disney standard.
