Looking to rent points for OKW GV...

I have no idea when to start looking or how to buy these.. BUT we are looking to come in early February or January of next year and we want to stay in the Grand Villa of Old Key West...

when do I start looking and how do we do this?

post your dates, and you want to find a dvc member that owns at the okw for the 11 month booking especially on the gv.
post your dates and i will tell you how many point will be need and then you can figure out the cost, $10 or $11 or $12 x per point.

I am fairly open with my dates.. right now I am looking at Feb 7-13 2005
I do want to go on a Monday and Leave on a Sunday.
I am open to January as well.. I think it is cheaper then too...
so that being said these dates are fine with me
Jan 3-9
Jan 10-16
Jan 17-23
Jan 24-30
Jan 31- 6
Feb 7-13
that is my cut off tho.. the 13th we have to be back
1st choice is Feb 7-13
2nd choice is Jan 24-30 (DD B-day)

jan month for 1 week in a gv at okw is 356 points
feb 1-15 for 1 week 439 points

it doesnt matter when you check in or check out to start your full week, it ends up the same amount of points unless you add another day onto your week.

$10 per point is the lowest you can expect and $12 is about the highest,

find a dvc member with okw home resort, and has your amount of points and tell them you want points good thru the end of feb 2005 to rent.

start looking now, so you can get everthing iron out before the 11 month booking or very close.

It's good that you are a bit flexible...and also good that you are looking into it now. Depending on the time of year, GV's can be hard to snag.
