I believa AKV will get you the best incentive. Did you watch the Holiday webcast. If not ask your guide about it. If you truely want the best deal, look around the resale listings. Resale could save you thousands, an you can search for a loaded contract.
It was a special presentation in December that offered additional incentives for add ons.
I watched, and IIRC, the differences really didn't start until the 100 point level (and even then, it was a few dollars until you got into the bigger contracts).
From what I understand, BLT currently has $5.00 off at the 50 point level (so $115.00/ppt) and at AKV, it is $10 off ppt (or $102.00).
During our trip in December 2009, I met with our guide to add on 40 AKL points. To add on 40 points would have cost $4,480.00. With the incentives, a 50 point add on only cost $4,850.00. That's only $37.00 per point to add on the additional 10 points.
The were offering a "Member with ON-Property Event Incentive Offer." The price per point was $112.00 less a $15.00 per point discount for a 50 point add on. The On-Property incentive was a $15.00 per point discount rather than a $10.00 point per discount.
Add ons contracts 100 to 120 points were discounted at $17.00 per point.
Add ons contracts 125 to 150 points were discounted at $19.00 per point.
Add ons contracts 160 to 180 points were discounted at $21.00 per point.
I still have the deal sheet that shows the financing options.
These deals are good, but they are not as hot as those offered when we purchased our original contract.
We have always added on at our home resort of BWV. For those of you that have stayed at BLT did you like it? Also, looking at the points chart I am thinking that 50 points won't make if very far so I am not sure we should add on there to only be able to stay every 3 years or so. Thoughts? Thanks!

We own at BWV & BLT.
We usually do a split stay somewhere.
This was our first trip at BLT & I have to say it was really great to be so close to MK just a quick monorail ride to Epcot. A totally different feel.
But the Boardwalk is so great & close to to HS.
But split stays are getting to be a drag, packing-up seems to get harder.

We love BLT and that is why we bought. For us, the points charts for BLT (SV rooms) are not that much different than the other resorts we would choose to stay at (BCV or VWL) in the summer when we travel, Magic Season so that was not a huge factor in our decision. Matter of fact, we are trying out a BCV studio for 2 weekend nights next summer, and it cost me 2 more points than the SV studio at BLT that I had originally booked.
We also did our first DVC stay last summer and loved the split stays. MK is our favorite park and we will always spend the bulk of our trip there, but we are looking forward to doing 3 nights one place, and 4 at BLT every year.
Buying 50 points to start, even though it doesn't get you a lot at the 11 month window, can be combined at 7 months with your BWV points to get you stays there more than every 3 years. And, to be honest, I think that getting in at the 7 month window for LV rooms will be possible, except for certain times of the year.

So far, that's only been true for those who want standard view or Magic Kingdom view. Those who call at 7 months have been getting lake view rooms without wailisting for most times of the year (so far).
