I hope you all can help me out here - I am looking to buy a new camera. I do a lot of scrapbooking and need a camera that takes nice, clear pictures. Right now I have a Fuji FinePix S602 Zoom Digital Camera and have had it for many years. I liked it up until I saw my sister in laws new Kodak Easy Share camera that takes really nice pictures and I can download the pictures right from the memory stick to my computer (my camera, the card is too big and I cannot do this).

I don't know much about cameras, which is why I am hoping you can help..some of the things I need are:

Clear pictures
Holds a memory card (my computer can take SD, XD, MemoryStick Pro)
Has a zoom feature up to at least 10 times
Small, but not credit card style...(I hope you know what I mean? LOL)

Anyway, any suggestions would be great...I just want a camera that takes nice, clear pictures that can be downloaded from memory card to computer! :)

Thank so much for the help! :)

I do alot of scrapbooking too, and before I upgraded to a digital SLR I shot pictures with a Sony DCS-H9. This is a bridge camera that is not pocket size, uses the Sony memory stick and takes fabulous pictures. The zoom is awesome on it as well. It has a flip screen that is great for getting difficult shots too. I used this on many Disney trips and my 10 DS took it over on our trip in June. He loves it as well. It is nowhere the size of a dSLR but sort of looks like one and will take great video as well. I was very happy with it, but was ready to move in the SLR world. Mine had 8mp, but Sony is now making them around 10 or so.

Good luck!! Definitely go into a store and try some cameras out. This one works well for us, and my kids love it now. :)

I bought a Sony DSC h50 before our trip. I'm an amateur photog who owed a Sony previously. I looked for a year before deciding to go for a Sony again. The downside is that you have to buy their memory sticks and accessories. But for the money it is the easiest to use and the best picture quality. I LOVED this model in Disney because its view screen can be pulled away from the camera and tilted up or down to get a shot too low or high for you to see straight on. This was incredible for the Disney parades especially the light parades!!!!!! My 4gb memory took more that 1200 photos on fine setting and I still ran out of shots:scared1:. It did a great job on burst you should see the pic I got of the Lights Camera action stunt show at Disney studios by putting on continous burst. (sorry dont know how to paste photos that big here). The camera is around $250 it is good for point and shoot type ( my husband is not a photog and loves it too) and those who want to play a little more with their photography.:cheer2:

PS: DSC h50 may be a little bigger than you wanted. I would urge you to pick it up and handle it because it is very lite and easy to handle. I have Fibromyalgia and the thought of lugging my old camera was not an option. This sony was great
