I am so EXCITED!!! We added an additional day to our trip in September on Sunday and I was able to get a ressie at Sanaa for that night!!!! I am so surprised I was able to get one this close to our trip! Hopefully this is a sign that the parks won't be busy due to free dining!!!

good for you !!!.. I would love to hear some comments on this place from people that have been there !! enjoy !!

I hope you enjoy. We thought the food was great. We love Indian food and all of our dishes were nice and spicy. Service was friendly and attentive; the restaurant is nicely decorated, we enjoyed drinks in the bar before dinner.

You will love the meal. Very Tasty. Make sure to spend some time exploring the resort, especially the main lodge. Lots of great things to see and experience. Enjoy your vacation.:cool1::banana:

We love love love Sanaa! It's so nice to have something a little more unusual as a choice, we are usually there for over a week and get tired of the usual food offered everywhere. It fits my family's tastes, we like "ethnic" cuisines....Can't eat steak every night for 10 days.......! (yes, we also order fish, etc, but you know what i mean.....)

Congratulations!

We had dinner at Sanaa last Thursday and thought everything was top-notch, especially the lamb chops. Mmmmmm, next time we go there I'm getting them! The chicken with red curry and shrimp with green curry were also way up there in YUMitude!

Their tomato soup and the bread service is awesome (and very filling!).

One of our favorites and we try to go several times each trip.

Enjoy!

Hate to be the wet blanket, but getting a last minute ADR for a relatively new restaurant, not in the parks and ethnic, is the norm--not the exception.

The bread service is outstanding and not to be missed.

I was underwhelmed at the rest of the meal, but it certainly wasn't bad--just not remarkable.

Our meal was tainted by TERRIBLE service. The worst I've had on WDW property in 16 years of trips. We couldn't even get a manager to complain to. We would have had dessert, btu we were so weary of just trying to get our drinks (water and coffee) refilled that we were just fed up and ready to go.

I look forward to trying it again another day!

My sister and I had dinner at Sanaa in April. We had the bread service and split the salad assortment. I had the shrimp and short ribs with rice. I can't remember what my sister had...we also had the wine flight. I loved everything but the short rib dish. It was okay but more like a bland stew. Just not what I expected. It was way too much food though. I could have just eaten the bread and salad and been satisfied. Didn't get dessert. Service was excellent....and the restaurant was DEAD.

We ate there a few weeks ago and loved it! The bread service is wonderful. DH had the short ribs and chicken in red curry sauce, with basmati rice, and he loved it. I had tandoori chicken with five-grain pilaf and I loved that! We sat by the window and got to view the animals. Ask for a table by the window! Kidani Village is beautiful, and the parking was in a garage so the car did not bake in the sun!

I really liked Sanaa last year, and booked it again for this trip. It's a great restaurant.

You will love it! We can't wait to go back on our next trip. Actually, we will probably go more than once the next trip. Meal was fabulous, good service, awesome atmosphere. Loved everything about it.

I went twice in Feb.
The first time it was wonderful (although I wasn't expecting the bread service to be so spicy..wow...but when I mentioned it, they brought out more of the plain breads for me).
Chicken was great. Lamb meatballs dry and ick.
Overall wonderful and good service.

Second trip a week later was terrible.
CM at the front desk was upset by something and was slamming down menus, they were telling everyone to go away when they came to the podium although the place was empty. We were giving a buzzer and waited 20 min. past our ADR eventhough the place was EMPTY.
Our server ignored us the entire time and we watched him stand and stare out the window and then clean ONE large table for an extended period of time and never come to us. We were his ONLY table left. We sat with empty plates for nearly half an hour and when he came over and asked about dessert (I had told him at the beginning I was looking forward to the chai creme again), I told him that I did want dessert, but I wasn't going to sit there for another half hour waiting for it.
He brought us a free chai creme to share and apologized....I appreciated that at least.
Plus, the food tasted off and I didn't finish it (and I had had the same thing a week earlier but it was very different this time) and I got sick the next day.

Still debating on if I would return again...really not sure....doubtful.

Sanaa is a must do for us every trip. We love the tomato soup and bread service. We have also has the fish wrapped in banana leaf, the chicken curry, and the shrimp curry. We don't usually do desserts, but the pressed pot coffee is to die for!

We have never had bad service or the experiences that some other posters have had.

Enjoy your meal!

DH and I loved our meal at Sanaa in January. We each had apps entrees and desserts and they were all wonderful. My only issue was that it was no where near as spicy or seasoned as the Indian restaurants DH and I frequent but I guess that is what you get at an indian inspired restaurant for the masses at WDW. We also had wonderful service with a great waiter and the manager even came around to all the tables to make sure that we were all satisfied and also lingered in the dining room throughout the whole meal.
