Looking for title help YET AGAIN! Early Entry title please!

I feel like I constantly ask for help with titles. And thanks to those who continue to help.

I need a title for our Early Entry day at Disneyland (during the 50th anniversary in 2005). I have four pictures, including one of the Disneyland Railroad station and one of the kids and I standing beside the "Early Entry" sign. My first obvious title was "Early Entry"... but that seems so boring (and redundant, since the sign states that!). I was coming up with things like...

Early Morning Magic (although I don't know what is so magical about us standing there at 6:45 am looking sleepy!)

Special Sunrise (although it was cloudy)

I'm just at a loss and I am looking for one of you brilliant ladies to bail me out! (BTW, there wasn't any kind of special ceremony or celebrations that morning... maybe because it was so early??)................P

"Again, mom...why are we up so early?"..

My DS13 would have been totally giving me the evil eye on this one!!

Well... if I were writing the journaling from DH's point of view, it would DEFINITELY say something like that! He is not the Disney fan that the rest of us are. But we had just 3 days to see everything at DL and DCA and the kids KNEW that it was going to be commando and they were up for the challenge! We didn't LEAVE the park until 11:45 pm the night before and we were in line for Early Entry at 6:40 am the next morning. But it was WELL worth it. It was a FABULOUS trip. My kids were young, but they were troopers (DD was almost 10 and DS was 7 1/2). Thanks for the chuckle!.............P

I'm not a clever title girl... but I'm learning!!!
We go early to the parks (well, rope drop) as we have never been onsite before...so this year we are going to hit at least one EMH early! LOL

Ooooh... I like that!! I think we have a winner!! I can angle to journaling to talk about how tired we were and how crazy it was that we had only left the park about 7 hours before!!

NOW.... how about a title for our morning time around the park??... I have a 2 page LO that has pictures from BTMRR, POTC, Tarzan's Treehouse, Critter Country, and a picture with Brer Bear. It is still early morning, before breakfast. I was heading toward.... "Morning Meanderings" since we were kind of wandering around, trying to hit the things that were open for the EE time. But I'm not totally sold on that title.

I don't know why I always think that titles need to rhyme or have some sort of rhythm to them. Anything?.....P

Totally off subject, but we were there for the 50th anniversary too! I just loved those golden ears. That was our last trip before Jacka...memories!

It was truly the BEST TRIP of my entire life (the whole thing, not just the Disney portion). I would give a lot to plan another trip like that before the kids get too old...... Maybe I just need to PLAN IT and THEN tell DH about it ! The magic of being there during the anniversary (and it was my first trip to DL) was unbelievable. Our last day in the parks was the day BEFORE the big official 50th anniversary day. Originally we were thinking it might have been nice to try to reschedule our flight out so that we could actually have been there ON the anniversary, but in hindsight, after seeing the crowds that were there on that day, glad we didn't bother!!

We also got selected that Friday by a Cast Member to be one of the families who attended the grand re-opening of Space Mountain. We saw Neil Armstrong and got interviewed by a local newsstation about how it felt to be one of the first to ride the new Space Mountain (sadly we have no idea what station or if it ever aired).

For the 50th anniversary at Disneyland, did they decorate the castle in a really cool way? Because I went to Disney World's 25th anniversary, and the castle was covered in candy!

Yes, the castle was decorated and there were golden ride cars on most of the rides. It was really neat...let me see if I can find pictures...

Haunted Mansion had this huge spiderweb out front with a 50 in it...

I so agree with you Pjlla...I do not know what it was about that trip, but it was quite magical for us too. We had an amazing time! I hope to get back to DL in the next 18 months.

It was pretty neat looking! Now that I think of it, I have never seen the castle as normal. In 2004 when we went to DL they had it closed off because they were gearing up for the 50th. I do not know what it is, but for me DL has a little more magic than WDW. (I hope I do not get banished for saying that! lol)
