Hi everyone!

I was looking for tips on how to "have the Easter Bunny visit during vacation at Easter" and any other tips or techniques for doing Disney at Easter. We have been to WDW several times, but never for this holiday (mostly during President's week or early summer).

Thanks,
Linda

As kids, we often traveled over Easter. The Easter Bunny did amazing things on those trips. Once he even visited our moving vehicle. We were driving overnight from Salt Lake City to St. Louis and sometime during the night, gifts and eggs were hidden throughout the van.

If your kids are heavy sleepers, perhaps you could let E.B. come during the night. Otherwise, perhaps he could visit while you are having breakfast that morning in the resort restaurant. (Oops, honey, I forgot something. You take the kids on ahead and I'll be there in a minute.) ;)

Good luck!

I will be there with my 4yo DD at Easter. I plan on making her basket ahead of time and shipping it via UPS to the hotel. Then on Easter morning I can just put it on the nightstand while she is still asleep.

My kids are older now, but Mr. E. Bunny always visits anywhere we are!!! The last poster had a good idea to ship a basket ahead of time. Just for your info, we have been at Disney during Easter. There are baskets for sale in the gift shops as well as candy, stuffed animals, etc. Disney will make one for you or you can buy the "fixins" and make your own. One thing I have done is to bring decorations for our room. I like the little plastic ones with the tiny suction cups attached (sorry don't know the real name for these!!). They can be used on windows or mirrors and won't leave any lasting marks. Another idea I have used is to give Disney money. This way the kids can pick out something special for themselves from their trip. BTW I used to use Disney money all the time when my kids lost teeth on vacation. Obviously when we're in Disney Tinkerbelle comes too!!! LOL!!! Your kids will LOVE being away for a holiday. Imagine getting a visit from the Easter Bunny and then "hopping" over to a Disney park!!!

Have a Wonderful Vacation!!!
