Looking for some tips for an anniversary trip it will be me and my wife 20th anniversary,my first trip was for my honeymoon in March 1998.

So looking for some tips to make it a little extra special and not spend a lot trying to keep a budget. We will be going in March of 2018.

Thanks in advance and have a Magical Day !!!!!!

And what are the parameters of your budget? How many days? I would say do at least one signature dinner. What type of food do you like. I could suggest something.

Well we will be staying at Boardwalk Inn(standard room),deluex dinning and staying 6 nights 7 days(6 day park hooper ticket) staying at resort the first day and about $8000 budget.

That's what it have so far.

Have you considered dropping down the dining a bit, and adding club level? The cast members can assist with planning special things. Or dropping the dining plan altogether, having club level, then paying out of pocket?

We just celebrated ours in July. We ate at Artist Point and Narcoose's for dinner, and had a wonderful breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. I would recommend that breakfast since you are at Boardwalk- as well as Flying Fish (they were being refurbished while we were there). The highlight for us at Narcoose's was the electric water pageant, as well as being able to watch both the HS fireworks and Wishes during dinner.

My wife and I have celebrated our anniversary at WDW every year for the past five years. Next year will be anniversary number 43. What makes the trip so special for us? I'll let you in on a little secret-the fact that we are together. We get our pins and just enjoy eachother and the parks. Walk together, hand in hand. Don't sweat the small stuff like longs lines at rides. If the line is real long, we just keep on walking. Take time to sit and enjoy the place you're at. Talk to others. Get your picture taken with a character. A special dinner for two is nice, but aren't all your dinners together special? It's not the meal that will make the anniversary, it's the time you spend together so enjoy, hold hands and kiss in front of Cinderella's Castle.

You could take her on a horse & buggy ride. We did it a couple of years ago. It wasn't very expensive (2 years ago). They offer the horse & carriage ride at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I think they also have it at a couple of other locations.
