What are your favorites resorts at which to hop if you were interested in using the pools and enjoying some casual dining?

We do not pool hop but we have always enjoyed visiting WDW resorts for dinner or a drink. The seven seas lagoon – monorail resorts are a great place. We have traveled to the GF, Contemp and Poly by monorail and boat, dined and shopped at each resort, checked out their pool facilities (all appear to be top shelf), watched the lagoon parade and fireworks (from the 15th floor at the contemp) and really enjoyed the entire experience.
We have done the same (walked and boated) at the Epcot resorts. This visit included some miniature golf near the Swan. As far a favorites – I really like the better dining venues at most resorts. ‘Ohana’s at the Poly is wonderful. The Steakhouse at the Yacht is great. California Grill and Chef Mickeys at the Contemp and Beaches and Cream at the BC is nice. The Brewery at BW has great beer.
Explore and have fun.

WE don't pool hop either, but our favorite resort dinner is also O'Hana's at the Poly. We also like Bomas at AKL!

Ditto to what dianeschlicht said!

We have only pool hopped 3 times and that was to Stormalong Bay, but we do resort hop to eat at other resort restaurants and other than the great restuarants at the Epcot reorts, where we eat all the time, we also like the Kona Cafe at the Poly, Artist Pt at WL, Cal Grill and Concourse Steakhouse at Contemporary, Boma and Jiko at AKL and Citricos at GF.

We've never pool hopped either but we do like to explore resorts. Strangely we have mostly visited resorts that are now DVC resorts. We always enjoyed visiting the Wilderness Lodge for dinner/drinks/and overall atmosphere. Of course we had to add on there once it was added to DVC. If not staying at BWV, we go over there to dine and enjoy the atmosphere and we, too, enjoy walking over to Beaches and Cream. The only non-DVC resort that we have spent a lot of time visiting is the Contemporary. We really enjoy shopping there and Chef Mickey's. We do hope to one day visit them all, though.

Pool hopping to the SAB may be DANGEROUS to your health. Bring the phone number of a bail bondsman and a handcuff key;) ;) ;) ;) ;) .......

We always pool hopped. Our fav was SAB, alas no more. Our second fav, Port Orleans, again we are saddened. This summer, premium anual pass, and water parks. I guess Disney did figure out a way to get more money out of me.
