looking for the vegas pros!

Heading out for a trip in month and wondering what hotel has the best pool? We are staying for free at my parents timeshare(the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on the Strip) but wouldn't mind paying the $50 for 1 night somewhere like the Monte Carlo to play at the lazy river and wave pool (for my 6 year old). Any other suggestions for cool pools?

Mandalay Bay has the best pool but it's probably a bit more expensive but well worth it if you plan on staying at the pool/beach a lot. They have a lazy river, beach with wave pool, and numerous smaller pools. Here's a pic.

Did they re-open wet and wild ? If so that would be an alternative.

Nope, Wet n Wild is sadly gone. Like PP said Mandalay Bay has the best pool hands down.

Wet N Wild was supposed to be reopened or at least there was talk about it reopening but my guess is since the economy the way it is, those plans are off and there has been no talk of it in awhile.

MGM also has a lazy river, but no wave pool. I have heard their lazy river is the largest on the Strip since Wet & Wild closed up shop. I saw a ton of families and kids there in June as their room rates are a lot cheaper than Mandalay for the summer. I heard Monte Carlo's pools are in the shade of the building, does anyone know if this is true?
