LOOKING FOR THE ULTIMATE WALT DISNEY WORLD FAN FOR A NEW TRAVEL CHANNEL SHOW

The Travel Channel is producing a new show in Orlando, Florida tentatively entitled, “Ultimate Fan’s Guide to Walt Disney World” which will feature the definitive insider’s look at the world’s most loved theme park from a fan’s point of view.

At this time we are casting for Ultimate Fans who, not only have made Disney a large part of their everyday lives, but can also share information on getting the most out of every Disney vacation; from maximizing your trip on a budget to minimizing wait time in lines.

If you think you’re the Ultimate Disney Fan, here’s what you need to do. First, complete the online submission form found at http://disneyfan.lightshiptv.com and attach a photograph of yourself and your family and/or friends. Then send us a 5 minute video “resume” telling us why you are the Ultimate Walt Disney World Fan. Don’t forget to share your insightful tips about each theme park along with footage of how you have incorporated the “magic” into your everyday life. The deadline for all video submissions is March 10, 2004. All video submissions must be 5 minutes or less.

The show is looking to cast the following groups of Ultimate Fans:
• Parents and two teenage kids
• A multigenerational family which includes a Mom $& Dad with children between the ages of 3-5 years old and either Grandpa/Grandma or Aunts & Uncles
• Young married couple (preferably, but not limited to, married at Walt Disney World)
• Three thirty-something year old friends

Each group will have to know the ins and outs of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks to save vacationers time, money and enhance their overall experience.

Good luck to those that do submit. Yesterday at Blizzard Beach I saw a pair of swimsuit "supermodels" doing a photo shoot, no way these were tourists! A tall brunette and a blonde. They had perfect hair (way perfecto bods!) and had a photographer snapping shots then they left. And then I saw this story at Orlando Sentinel. "Tourists Thaw Out" but no pics of the models, bummer. Possibly totally unrelated. I was about 100 feet behind them in Meltaway Bay out in the water so if there is a pic somewhere I should be in the background. It was a perfect sunny day, temps were in lower 70's, less than 500 people were at the park a CM told me.

Looks like Disney is attempting to advertise a bit more or at least the industry is attempting to harp on the NE winter woes to herd folks to Florida. If I was into tourism thats what I would do....

My family and I have just finished our 20th straight year at Disney we beleive we are the perfect family for your show. We go every year in February we are DVC owners . We have a block in the magic kingdom walk around the world. We have over 100 video tapes of our trips to Disney . We would love to be part of your special.
