Looking for the name of a book....

I'm really hoping someone can help me here.
I was at my dentist recently and he was talking about a book. The subject came up about Happiness.....yes...it was the dentist...not the shrink...

Anywhoooo....the said he had the three keys to happiness and of course I had to have him go on...

He said,

1. Having someone to love.
2. Having something to do.
3. Having something to look forward to.

He said he got this from a book that he had just read and he told me the name of the book. Of COURSE I can't remember the name of the book or the author.

My question is....does anyone know of this book??

The most recent book about "happiness" that came out is

Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert.

I don't know if that's it, though. It's more about what makes the human mind work than about happiness itself.

I thought he said something about it being by a Doctor......I thought he said Dr. Livingstone...but I have not been able to find anything..
