Do you want private transportation? Mears has both busses and “express” options. Rideshare is popular and easy. I think we need more details, do you need car seats, how many people, how much luggage?I know the most recommended transportation to and from MCO seems like it changes quite frequently. I am just needing opinions to get from MCO to VGF this week.
TIA
If I am choosing Lyft and picking up luggage at baggage claim, Lyft is requesting a "Curbside" number when making my reservation; 3 through 14. Which one should I pick and why ?I highly suggest Uber, especially if you select the 'uber comfort' option which ensures only newer, spacious vehicles for your ride!

I would disagree with this statement.
Uber Comfort basically excludes the compact vehicles but something like a Jeep Compass, Mazda 6, or Mitsubishi Outlander Sport are all considered “comfort” but still quite small.
Generally, Comfort vehicles can be at most 5-8 years old. So while yes they are newer than the 16 years old that regular Uber vehicles can be…an 8 year old vehicle can easily have 150-200k miles on it.
Not to mention that just like regular Uber vehicles, Comfort vehicles still have zero vehicle inspection requirements.
If they ask you for a number, look above the doors where you exit or look on a pole or some fixed object outside. There should be a number painted, this indicates where you are for pick up.If I am choosing Lyft and picking up luggage at baggage claim, Lyft is requesting a "Curbside" number when making my reservation; 3 through 14. The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (UberComfort vehicle) has 2nd row leg room of 36.3 inches. Two passengers (as OP stated) should have no problem fitting into a Jeep Compass, Mazda 6, or Mitsubishi Outlander.
If you're not a fan of Uber, it's fine to say so, but nothing was incorrect in my suggestion - they're newer (which has nothing to do with mileage), more spacious (small SUVs > compact/economy sedans) options than regular Uber![]()
Making a reservation with Uber or Lyft for an inbound flight is not a good idea. You never know whether or not the flight will be delayed; you don’t want to lose your money. A private car service will track your flight and have a driver there for you, regardless of whether or not the flight is delayed.I was trying to make a reservation for the Wife in advance of her arrival at MCO so all she needs to do after collecting her luggage is to walk out the door since it is at the same level..

Compact car comparison:
Honda Civic- 37.4 inches
Hyundai Elantra - 37.3 inches
Chevy Cruz - 36.1 inches
VW Jetta - 37.4 inches
I have nothing against Uber. I do have something against creating false expectations which is something Uber does very well as do some people that are strong rideshare proponents.
Lastly, I don’t think anyone would consider vehicles 5-8 years old as “newer”. Newer than an Uber vehicle which can be up to 16 years old certainly but when someone says a “newer vehicles” they’re probably thinking under 5 years old.
