Surprisingly, the best steak I had my last trip was at the Turf Club at SSR. It was our last night and most in our party ordered the steak and we all loved it.
out of the three places i had steak in december (tokyo dining, coral reef, concourse steakhouse) coral reef was by far the best. tokyo was the worst, too bland.
I can't narrow it down to just one favorite, I'd say Le Cellier (plus the cheddar cheese soup is amazing!); California Grill; and Yachtsman...I've had the filet at all 3, more than once and I've never been disappointed. If I had to choose only one place, I'd go with CG b/c you can't beat the ambiance...plus my husband loves thier sushi. Good luck, and have a great trip!
Because I think its worth ranking these - these are from my husband the steak eater and are the steaks at Disney eaten over the past six years):
1. Jiko (twice 4 and 2 years ago)
2. Le Cellier (over five years ago)
3. Teppenyaki (consistantly over six years - though it isn't traditional steak)
4. Flying Fish/California Grill (FF, twice, three years ago and this year, CG this year)
5. Narcoosees (five years ago)
6. Le Cellier (any time since five years ago - which has been three times)
7. Kona (four years ago)
None of these rank as well as steaks at Ruth's Cris or Capital Grille.
Le Cellier's mushroom filet is a salty mess, IMHO. Since there's no Peter Luger's at WDW, I suggest you go to the Yachtsman or Shula's for a good steak. Please. For your tastebuds' sake!
