This past August my family stayed at the Dolphin with a great teacher rate of $149 per night. It was a really nice vacation, as we had never stayed at the Dolphin before. We had stayed at the Poly in the past, but it is sooooo expensive now and unfortunately I can't justify the cost. My question is: I currently see a discount rate of $199 at the Dolphin for our April school break. Historically, are the $149 rates ever available at that time? Last year it seemed they announced special rates at one point, but I do not know when that happened. We would love to stay there again--of course trying to get airfare for that time period is a whole other story! Any info is always appreciated.

Thanks so much, and have a magical day! pixiedust:

If the week you need is during the Spring Break season you might want to go ahead and book at $199. If the rate does come down you could try to cancel and re-book. Or go with dreams unlimited here on this site and they will adjust the rate if it comes down. We stay at the Swan/Dolphin often on the teacher rate and can't always get the $149 rate, especially during a busy season. Be sure to go to the Starwood web site and sing up to be a preferred guest (it's free). You will earn points toward a free night.
