After much prodding from doctors and family, I have started a new workout routine. To try and get my body used to moving, I am starting slow - mainly walking on treadmills at the gym.
Yesterday, I tried something new. As an AP holder, I thought "why not get my walk in at the Happiest Place on Earth?"
So, that is what I did. I did a complete circuit of the outer perimeter of the inside of Disneyland Park. Basically, I did a "wide right" as far as a guest can go, around the park. This included all of the alleyways and walkways to ride entrance/exits.
This took me just about 70 minutes and according to my pedometer, about 6500 steps.
What I would like to know is this: Does anyone know of specific walking maps that have been created (based upon the parks of DLR) that have stated distances? For example, if I wanted to walk 2 miles, the map might take me down Main Street, through Tomorrowland, back to the Hub, through the Castle and all the way through to Toon Town, then back through the Castle and down to the Main Street Train Station (this is just an example and I have no idea how long a walk that actually is).
Do maps like this exist?
If so, could someone point me in the proper direction?
Many thanks!
