my sister always stays on site, while I stay off site at a villa. She now feels as if she's not getting enough for the price difference (on site vs off site). Plus, her DH wants a comfy area where he can relax when he gets up early and the others are sleeping. They have 4 in their party (BIL, Sis, 15 & 16 yo boys).

The boys are used to having hotel ammenties (ie - common pool, arcade, etc) and the parents are hoping they can find something that fits everyone's needs.

Are there any good hotels in the area that have seperate sleeping vs living room areas with a kitchen/kitchenette? Perhaps a 2 room suite or something along those lines? Something with a comfy chair our couch -- something the husband can sit on while watching TV.

TIA for any suggestions. She really liked the villa we stayed at last year, but they are hoping to find a hotel to accomodate the boys as well.

We stayed at Cypress Point Grand Villas a few years ago. If your dh wants comfy, it's the place. We had a 2br condo, king bed with Jacuzzi in master br and 2 twins in 2nd br. Also had a full kitchen and big screen tv in living room (not HD though but still better than a tiny one.) It has a central pool too but not sure of arcade as ds was only 3 then. It's sister resort Cypress Point is a little older but has just been completely renovated. I'd stay at either again!!:cloud9: Very close to DTD.

We sat thru the timeshare pitch to get a cheap rate there but you can rent from hotelkingdom.com with no obligation to tour at all. Just say no and keep walking.

I second Cypress Point Grand Villas or Cypress Point. I think Cypress Point is now nicer than the villas due to the recent renovations.

Have you checked out the condos at Windsor Hills? I'm typing this from the living room of our condo right now while my family is snoozing in their respective rooms. For $85 per night, we have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen, washer & dryer, balcony, big screen TV, TVs in all bedrooms, X-box w/ games, wireless high speed internet, community pool with an awesome tube slide, community game room (pool tables, ping pong, movie theater w/ free movies, and a fitness center. There's also a store on-site. We are less than 2 miles from Disney. It takes us only 5 minutes to get to the parks!

The website says starting at $95 night, but we got it for a lower rate. I guess times are tough for some of the owners. Here's the link to the company we are using in case you are interested:

If you really want a hotel, try the Buena Vista Suites. We originally had a room booked there for $88 per night. There's a separate living room with a door so your DH can get up early and not bother the others. Hot breakfast is included.

You could also take a look at Coral Cay Resort which is 3 and 4 bedroom townhomes on a resort with facilities which include pool, games arcade etc. We love the fact that there is a private patio hot-tub and a also a gamesroom for the kids in most of the units. A lot smaller than Windsor Hills but a good base for all the parks - located off highway 192 to the east of the I4.

Thanks! I'll pass along those suggestions. We stay at Emerald Islands and I would never squeeze into a hotel room again ;) But, they are really looking for more of a hotel feel/layout for the teenage boys.

If anyone has any other ideas, I'll love to hear them.

Thanks again :)

We haven't stayed there yet, but on recommendation and based on great reviews on Trip Advisor, we've booked 2 weeks in the Floridays Resort on I-Drive. 2 bed / 2 bath condo. (3 bed also available). Next to SeaWorld.
