This should be a fun 'fluff' thread, and I know the DIS is *perfect* for stuff like this.
Next year DH and I wanting to make a short 'music video' of a couple trips and perhaps just a summary of life in general. As an alternative to making a scrapbook, we just wanted to make a family music video. I figure this would be a great way to learn how to use video-editing software and have some fun in the process.
In the next year we will be moving to a new town, starting a family, starting new jobs, new place to live, and a couple small trips. Lots of new and big events.. which being the sentimental fool that I am, I will want video documentation of this point in our lives.
However we are having some disagreements over music choice. Can anyone here recommend some good songs for a family music video? What would you use as your theme song? Trying to pick something early to maybe make the video kind of 'fit' with the music. Something upbeat, maybe some rock influence. Some things under consideration thus far:
Life,Love and Laughter Donavon Frankenreiter (DH isn't fond of it, I love it)
Runaround Blues Traveler
Island of the Sun Weezer (I am not fond, he likes it)
Best years of our Lives Baha Men
So far it is either something I like, or somehting He likes... but nothing in the middle. Help?
