Hi Folks,

My wife and I will be doing our 1st cruise on the Wonder on March 2nd. We've set up the Stingray adventure at Castaway Cay and the Bike Tour in Key West. We're scheduled for the Discover Atlantis tour in Nassau but we're not sure about it. Can someone who's done that tour (recently if possible) tell me what its like..............?

Thanks in advance for helping us out here.

We were on the Discover Atlantis tour last summer. They pick you up in minibuses at the port and give a bit of a city tour on the way over (at least our driver did, not sure if that's customary). They drop you (and a few hundred other people) off by the Royal Tower entrance where you are assigned a tour guide who takes you through The Dig aquariums. Afterwards you are allowed to re-explore The Dig on your own and the other aquariums as well as the common areas such as the shops and casino. They pick you up at a different entrance for the trip back.

All in all, the tour is ok, especially if you've not been. It's a bit pricey for what you get but the aquariums are neat.

I did some research to see what it would cost to go on our own and just a day pass to the Dig was around $45, the add in the taxi fare. I figured for an extra $20 or so it was worth the security of being on a DCL excursion. The mini tour of the citi is part of the excursion.
