Im looking for specific recommendations for a sling backpack (single strap across the chest). I've gone through several existing threads but most either don't have specific recommendations or are very camera oriented. The ideal bag will have:
In past trips Ive used an REI Flash 22 which handles the load but a two strap backpack is harder to deal with taking off for rides (especially with a hooded jacket on) and the water bottle falls out when I take off the bag unless we clip it to the top zipper, which then makes more hassle for us. The smaller profile of a sling backpack will also be nice to have and I dont plan to put enough weight in it to need the two straps for comfort.
Thanks!
- Fits two jackets inside. I will consider a bag with bottom clips that hold rolled jackets.
- Water bottle on outside, handles a full sized bottle without risk of falling out. I would rather have the water bottle inside the bag than deal with a short bottle holder on the outside.
- Clip on the main strap for easy removal.
- Smaller is preferred over larger, so long as the jackets fit.
- Doesnt need to be camera friendly, DW will have a dedicated camera sling backpack we have on order (but too small for additional items).
- Gender neutral or something for guys.
- Pocket/sleeve on strap that fits an iPhone 5 w/o a case would be nice.
- Front side pocket to hold WDW tickets and FastPasses would be nice.
