I am doing a rental car post Cruise țo kill some time And looking for a brief post cruise activity for about 3 hours until my flight. I am considering The space Center, but it may not be worth it due to distance( have not looked it up yet). My baby is 6, not sure if she would enjoy it at that age.

So I need feedback on Space center or suggestions for 3 hr time killer.

Do you have a rental car? How are you getting to the airport? The airport has lots of shops and things. You can get a day room at the Hyatt MCO. With a little one that might be a good option. Remember you're going to be getting pretty early that morning. A bed in a quiet spot might be best. Or you can use the pool, if you want.

Really 3 hours isn't a lot of time to "do" much of anything. And, be aware the security lines at MCO can be brutal at times.

We took my oldest DS to the space center when he was 6 (youngest DS was 4). They both had a good time when they were there. They liked looking at the rockets and loved tasting the astronaut ice-cream  A few hours would probably be the limit for that age and it's not too far, if I remember correctly. I'd just make sure you leave enough time to get to MCO in case you run into traffic.

3 hours isn't a lot of time and you have a little one. I agree with others- day room at Hyatt. Sometimes we swing by the Polynesian at WDW for a dole whip :) and cruise the shops if we have a short time before the airport. But considering 1 hour from port to airport and security, getting lunch etc., day room may be a happier choice.

We do have rental. But may just do happy limo round trip with dAy room. It would be chesper

You won't have enough time to make Kennedy worthwhile. The Florida Mall is near the airport if you want some walking around time. But I'd probably go to Disney Springs if I thought there wouldn't be traffic problems getting back to the hotel. A 6 year old might just enjoy the Lego store there.

We did the Orlando Science Center when we had this issue. It was perfect. I would not go all the way to Disney Springs, that's a waste of at least an hour in just passing the airport to come back.

My recommendation would be the Crayola Experience at the Florida Mall. It is very close to the airport and geared toward your DDs age. You can save a few bucks if you buy your tickets online in advance. I think they are about $20 a ticket. We spent a couple of hours there and felt like we experienced everything we wanted to do.

How did you get to the Science Center? That's way north of the 528. Sounds interesting, though.

And, you know, it's in the mall. :yay:

Visit Exploration Tower right along the cruise ship channel. Just a few minutes around the corner from the dock. You'll see it as you leave port - the building with the pointy top! Lots of exhibits inside and a fantastic view of the port from the 7th floor outside observation deck. Afterwards, there are several restaurants right across the way (you'll see those as you leave port as well) for lunch. Grills is a favorite of ours but I think you'll enjoy any one of them.
