looking for scheduling tips, first visit

Hello, my family will be visiting Florida for the first time in oct 2010,We are so excited! we will be staying at give kids the world, and have 3 days at WDW, 2 days at universal, and 1 day at seaworld. we have a 3 day park hopper for WDW and passes to MNSSHP. Since MNSSHP doesn't start til 7 pm what should we do earlier in that day? Do we need a full day for each park? It seems there isn't a full days activities at HWS for a 6 year old? Do we have to use the park hopper on 3 consecutive days? We also want to visit downtown Disney. Is that something we should do our first night there since we won't have enough time to go to a park tht day? any other tips would be great. We want to be able to see as much as possible but without overdoing it.

If you have not been to Disney before you do need about a day at least for each park except animal kingdom. Would I go to magic kingdom the day I go to MNSSHP? Probably not. You can get in at 4 pm. We did this last year and agreed next time we would make this a down day and then go to the park as soon as we could. That bieng said my kids are alot older than 6 so we planned on staying until the end. I don't know how late your 6 year old will last until. The MNSHP is definitely the most fun thing we have done at Disney and we have been many times.

If you have the park hopper use it. Do you have to? No but we do as we stay right on Disney property.

I think the key for you will be to plan well, and not try to over do it. In 3 days you can't see everything.

mnsshp is a late and tiring night. It is great!! wealso try to do swimming in the the am sleep in etc so we can enjoy the evening. I have a 6 and 4 year old and there is no way they could do a park all day and than go to mnsshp...I couldn't even doit....i take that back I could but I would be grumpy by the time I got to mnsshp. there are vitually nolines so if you decide to take it easy than go to mnsshp you will still do and see more than you would in a full day at mk. I am not sure what you 6 year old likes boy or girl?? toy story was great, buety and the beast play, little mermaid voyage, probably too old for playhouse disney. If it were me you could do a half day at hs and ak if you had to but you could make a full day as well out of each....also block party bash at 3 pm at hs with toy story characters in the parade.
