Looking for roommates with future PI's

Hey everyone! I know a lot of us have not heard back whether we got an internship or not but I thought I would start this thread so we could talk and maybe find some roommates for when people move down there.

Here's my situation- after reading the horrible reviews of Northbridge I have decided to start looking for alternative housing if I get an internship. I have been scouring the internet and have found a few houses that look nice and if we get 3-4 people it wouldn't be too expensive (less than northbridge at any rate). What I am looking to do is stay after the internship (if I get one but I am trying to stay positive). So what I am looking for is people who are looking to stay after their internship as well. Good luck to everyone and hopefully we can find some good housing so we won't have to stay in Northbridge!!

I agree about Northbridge - I'm a current professional intern with friends who live in NB and the drive is unfathomable to me.

My friends and I went in on an apartment and it's the best thing we decided to do. Near Disney there are a ton of places available that are actually fully furnished, resort-style apartments (the owners can choose to rent it weekly for vacationers, or monthly for renters). The place I'm living in now is a gated community, only ten minutes from work and has a gorgeous pool, a movie theater (where you bring your own movies and it plays on a large TV), a TV in every bedroom, free cable and internet.

Unfortunately, our lease continues but it looks like I'm heading home in June. If anybody is looking for some great roommates - two professional interns who will switch to full-time, and one full-time, I recommend my room. It's $275 a month plus utilities - maybe in the $50 - $75 range. It's right off of 192 in a place called Coral Cay (google it). We do have two cats, Charlie and Claire, who are awesome. PM me if you're interested at all, I definitely recommend it.

I would be very interested in rooming with you if this PI comes thru! I to am terrified of this Northbridge rooming. Hopefully we will both get the "go ahead" soon (staying postive as well!)!!!!!!!!

That sounds good. I have looked a lot on craigslist and I would lean more towards a house since it isnt much more than an apartment and there would be more room. I am also hoping to stay in Florida after the PI ends so I'm hoping to find somewhere I could stay.

Silly question, are you a guy or a girl? Sorry I can't tell by your name and I was curious.

I'm a girl! Hope that's not bad! I was just on Craig's list looking as well and crazy enough was on the Celebration site. I'm not sure if I would stay in Fl unless I was offered a job. Oh well! If you find any good leads please pass them on!

I feel bad about asking you that but I figured it would be best to get it out of the way first. I understand what you mean about not staying unless you were offered a job, I just figure worse come to worse I can go full time for Disney. If I get the internship I was interviewed for I would be working in Celebration, so I would like to be close to there.
