Looking for reputable Emphysema or stop smoking charity

I get together with some friends and family members every year for a Christmas party and Secret Santa. This year I have my great aunt Liz. She has emphysema and was just hospitalized this week. It doesn't look good and I don't think she'll be coming out. We are still having our party tonight and I still haven't bought her gift. She doesn't need anything and can't really have anything at the hospital, shes in intensive care. So I thought I would make a donation in her name. I'd like to make it to a group that does Emphysema research or a fund to keep kids from smoking, something like that. Any ideas?

I think the American Lung Association is good. There's a copy of their annual report on the site - over 75% of their money actually goes to program services, and nearly half of that goes directly to research.

I donated an old car to them a few years ago. Much easier than selling it, and they came and picked it up.
