I do not know if ANYONE out there has one but I am definetly looking for one now that i know they exist! :)

Red IS my favorite color, and I am going to *TRY* to trade for one.

Please let me know items YOU are looking for. I have a wide variety, and if I do not have what you want.. * Maybe * I could trade to get the items you want :)

TY AGAIN!

Ash :yay:

You saw those in Hula's room too? Someone was asking and she didn't answer, but someone else said they're extremely rare. Right up there with green flips.

When and how were they even available?!? I'm really intrigued, because I love all the HM furniture. Hope you get one! - let us know if you find out anything else about them! :thumbsup2

Well - if you were in there just before she closed the line for the trading.. the person asking was ME :) hehe Yes, If i find any info out I will let others know.. they look very cool to me but i'm crazy in love with them :) ..... along with my flip craziness hehe (still looking for green too, if anyone has them for trade :rotfl: )

I've never even seen one in the game, but I read on another site a few months ago that they were one of the rarest furniture items in VMK and there was only a handful of players known to have them. Some insane number like 8 or something. Now, I have no earthly clue if that's true or not, but that's what I read. :wizard:

The Red Rockers are one of THE rarest things in VMK. There are about 10 of them in-game (not including Hosts Red Rockers, of course). These rockers were never sold or given in any in-park quests (the Rocker given in the retired Haunted Mansion Quest was the Purple Rocker). There were a handful of these given out just after Beta ended (given out by QA_Caffdawg, I believe), and then Host_Bella gave out about 3 of them in her May in-game quest.

Their actual worth is 2-3 Green Flips per Rocker, but as of right now no is willing to offer what they are worth. The current rate for the Red Rockers is 2 Infernos plus some retired stuff. Though I have never actually seen anyone trading one in the past five months...

I saw 1 trade last month for 1 inferno.

Then whoever traded it for 1 Inferno! got a great deal!!!

...and if it was on another site, then the person who 'owned' the Red Rocker actually owned the Purple Rocker and was sadly mistaken. The person who thought he'd finally gotten his Red Rocker was very disappointed...

If no one is willing to offer "what they are worth" then they clearly are not worth that price. And if they are trading hands for 1-2 infernos, then they are worth a lot less than green flips. Flips are trading for 4-5 infernos.

To clear this up they were givin out in the retired mansion quest by accident as little as five got this lucky the lowest i saw was 1 inferno and a full stitch set last month.

i dont understand why people get so worked up over a color.
like come on, I would prefer anything near an inferno to a red rocker(apart from trading)
come on!!! different objects are much better than recolors.
but why get so worked up over something like that.

You would like a ring of fire for a few seconds. AshJoes would like a red rocker. It's just a preference.

Tee Hee - Disney Is Correct. As I may want an inferno *possibly * one day or even more than that finish my flip collection! :) (green green, oh where art thou green). But even more than green I heart my red!!!! not just this mansion chair, but any and all red! :) if you see me online today I am dressed w/a red shirt, brown pants, red flips, red hair :) and a hat Tee Hee

I suppose.
I dont think I ever hope to try to trade for something like inferno or stitch hat,
and if this is worth more than inferno then Im not that bothered.
The things Im working up to is the mansion clock...
but like green flips, they are green flip flops, not the philophisers stone.
i suppose if I was making a red room, then I could look up one, but...
glad to see there is something you are wanting, makes you work for it!

No, they weren't given out on accident. This has been cleared up before. This "accidental handout" is only a rumor. The first rockers were given out by a QA_ and the most recent ones were given out in Host_Bellas quest.

There is much confusion about the red rocker. I've researched it for many many months and there is a thread on another site with all of this information.

The fact that there aren't offers for what they are truly worth doesn't mean they aren't worth that much. Those who own these rare items don't trade them hardly ever. Green baggy pants pass between people more often than these do!

I think that is the epitome of what "worth" means in a market like the VMK trading market. There is no set value for almost any of this stuff. Hence, the red rocker is worth what someone is willing to trade for it, and not a bit more. Nobody looks at something which went untouched at an auction and says it is still worth its asking price. Generally, people would say it is worth the amount of the highest bid. If it does not sell, it is because the seller does not wish to part with it for what it is worth.

Well, when someone offers me an insane amount of beta for my red rocker and I turn it down because I think it's worth more...then it's worth more. If I thought for a second that it was worth what I was offered, then we're talking a few Inferno!'s worth at least.

The Red Rocker is worth what it's worth. In vmk, it is valued at a different price, but that doesn't change its intrinsic worth.
