Looking for Quick, Cheap Trip Ideas

We live in VA and got the fun card for Busch Gardens and used it quite a few times over the spring and summer.
Why not consider the Great Wolfe Lodge/Busch Gardens. They are right beside each other (just a few miles apart) and you can get a BG Christmas funcard pass for $30 each and it is good from 11/22 thru 12/31...so during your time frame. You could go multiple days.
You could book a couple of nights at the GWL and then stay at a cheaper hotel for the rest of your stay. We stayed at 3 different choice hotels when we went on trips there (and for about $60/night).
Colonial Williamsburg is also there and some great outlets:thumbsup2

I just went to check my email and I had a groupon on there for the Wyndham beachfront condos at North Myrtle Beach for $59/night. Something else to consider :goodvibes

We "did" Universal in April two years ago and we did not care for it at all!

But I am toying with the idea of heading to Orlando. There is soo much to do

There is a great trip report on here by a poster Gina-Gina-Bo-Bina. Lots and lots and lots of ideas of stuff to do in Orlando that is not Disney. My fave was the mini golf, the Swamp Tour, and the Citrus Orchard. SO much outside WDW gates!
