Looking for Predictions on DVC Resorts between LSL and 2042

If I was more confident that Disney wouldn't pull the rug out with a policy change (or just fail to link my reservations properly), I would consider a couple days at SSR for a water park, golf, and Disney Springs cookies before switching over to a Crescent Lake resort to hit the parks, because by day 3 the LLMP options get a lot better.
If they continue the waterpark deal next year, I will go back to booking the first two nights at SSR again. If I take the cheap flights, they get me in too late to enjoy the waterpark on arrival, and I do enjoy Disney Springs.

As long as I can get my lightning lane for guardians during the week sometime, I’m usually good. I can see where this would be a disadvantage if I had kids and they were depending on me getting lightning lanes.

There’s a review of the CBS tea in the CBS thread on the Restaurants forum:
Post in thread 'Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk is now open'

ETA it’s from December, so things might have changed. And elsewhere in that thread it’s stated that the cancellation policy is pretty strict.
If the sandwiches aren't good thats a no go for me to do it again.

The complaint about not being able to sit in the main dining room, I have been to tea services where you cant sit in the main dining room, that's not anything new and I dont think fair to knock them for, if you want to go to the main restaurant then dont do tea imo.

I am totally expecting this to be overpriced and a one and done 🤣

I am really thinking to do an SSR stay exactly like this next spring.

I've actually never been to Gideons either. Its always been on my list, but there are soooo many food options at DS that by the time we go there to eat we are stuffed and never have the desire to go.

I think staying somewhere like SSR will finally seal the deal to be able to go easily, I get so overwhelmed with DS and not knowing where anything is.

I'd love to explore more of DS and do the Cirque show, have a cookie (or it seems I should try the cake now!) At Gideons, etc.
