I just checked ebay and now I'm confused about something. Some of the sellers are selling these mugs saying you can use them once you get to the resorts. That is not correct is it?

No, that is not right. If you purchase the mugs yourself at the resort, you can refill them with certain drinks for the length of your stay at that resort.
