... does an one know where I can buy such a thing? I have struck out with the Disney Store and online... I really want Tinkerbelle and Fairie crib sets and throws... seems it's Princess and Pooh only for girls...

I would think that with Pixie Hollow just coming into it's marketing frenzy, there will be bedding and such coming out on the market soon.:)

Have you checked the laughing store?

I know!!! I got some wall art... but that's not enough.

Thanks... I looked and it seems to be more nick-nack stuff. Oh well, maybe by the time she outgrows the baby scene, there finally will be little girl bedroom things in Tinkerbell and Peter Pan...

Shoot! And I thought I was being helpful!!! The only other suggestion I can make is to check the fabric store and see if you can find a Tinker Bell panel - then you can make a "duvet" cover with 2 panels by sewing the two panels together (like a pillow case) and put it over a blanket. Take a large sewing needle with yarn threaded through it - sew the threads through it at regular intervals - that way the "duvet" cover won't go askew.

No ideas for bumper pads, though....

Hi. Do you have a Liquidation World around? We have one too close, through out the years I have found many Tinkerbell items-comforters,nightlights,pictures.
I also found a Tink lamp at Home Depot.
Walmart paint sections has wall stickers
You can get 12 by 12 scrapbook paper and frame.
My spare room is Tinkerbell so any more ideas I will be back.

I am an Avon representative. We have some really nice Tinkerbell stuff right now. I have a Tinker Bell Throw, soft fleece, 152cmLx127cmW for $24.99 and a Tinker Bell pillowcase set, set of 2, for $12.99. We have some other Tinkerbell products too. I notice you are in Toronto. I'm in Brampton so not too far from you. Feel free to contact me if you like.

wow... you guys have some great ideas!

i'm super disappointed that Disney "thinks" baby girls could only be into princesses and pooh which is why they have only manufactured cor-ordinated nursery sets with those characters. granted, a baby isn't really quite in the know about that stuff yet, i guess it's once they hit 3 and 4 years old that they are more likely to want other characters. right now it's all about appeasing mom ;o)

I'll be heading to WDW in 3 weeks. If there is anything I could possibly pick up for you (keep in mind I'm flying, a crib won't be possible) :rotfl: let me know!! :thumbsup2

I did see that, thanks... I'm looking for baby and for crib and co-ordinated sets although in a couple years that'll work for me!

Wait now - the pic was of a toddler bed, which takes the same mattress as the crib mattress, so would'nt that work? Throw in some purple and you should be set, lol.

Since you said you are a novice, I must tell you that bumper pads are not recommended due to SIDS. No debate or advise here, just saying what's out there. Apparently when the kid gets older, is not safe as well as they can use it to climb out. Totally F.Y.I and totally up to you.

I love Etsy dot com. You can get someone crafty to make you a custom crib set if you approach them... some even let you send them the materials of your choice!!!

I have to ask, as this is something I know nothing about. What does a bumper pad have to do with SIDS? I always thought that SIDS was a syndrome marked by the sudden death of an infant that is unexpected by history and remains unexplained after a thorough forensic autopsy?

Is it not? Is is something else?

Sorry to go way off topic here OP - but I'm curious.

I googled and here's what I found on Health Canada's website.

Interesting link!

It says:

These products may reduce the flow of oxygen rich air to the infant in the crib. Furthermore, proposed theories indicate that the rebreathing of carbon dioxide plays a role in the occurrence of SIDS.

I had NO idea that they knew what (if anything at all) played a role with SIDS.

Tone.def - I'm with My 2 Princesses on this one. Don't get the bumper pads. :scared1:

Sweet mother of G_d!!!!!! No bumper pads for us and now I'm perplexed as to why companies would be allowed to still manufacture and sell these things!!!

Thanks for the heads up! :thumbsup2
