Looking for Opinions....please.

Well, we finally did it! We booked for August since the free dining is out.
We have always taken the limo service from the airport to the hotel so we could hit the grocery. It is not super important to hit the grocery, just a convience The limo service has been awesome. I have seen so many wonderful posts on here about the Magical Express. We will arrive around 11:08 in the morning on a Thursday and will be staying at POFQ. Has anyone had any experience with the Magical Express to POFQ? If so, please be honest. I don't know if I should book the limo service or do the Magical Express. Need opinions, please. What was your experience? What would you DO? Thanks a lot!

We have used Magical Express twice.. not to POFQ, but to ASMo and Pop and I wouldnt imagine its any different from one resort to another.. Have had no problems at all and I actually enjoy it..

I love magical express.....before that we use to take meers transportation...magical express is much better

We have never taken the Magical Express. We have had a town car service pick us up both times we went. We are going again in Dec. and are using the town car service again. I like the idea of the free Magical Express, but I REALLY like the speed of the town car. We are always at the hotel within 30 -45 minutes after we land. I've heard the Magical Express can take up to 2 hours. It stops at the different resorts, so if you are the last resort it could take awhile. Plus, the $100 for a town car seems a small price to pay for the comfort and convenience of having your own ride. And such a more relaxed way to start a vacation.

We used ME in December. I was prepared to be disappointed since I never liked using Mears. But, the bus left within 10 minutes of our arrival even though there weren't many passengers. We were going to the POR. I believe the bus made stops at POR and POFQ only. The most impressive part was returning to the airport. There was a terrible accident on the way to the airport and our wonderful driver stopped the bus and got police help to back up the bus and take a different route. And this was in 5:00 traffic! I was very impressed. The whole bus cheered after he backed us up and said calmly, we're going to take a different route to the airport.

So I recommend it. Now dh said the only thing he didn't like was being picked up 3 hours early for the airport. We're not big fans of waiting in an airport for several hours. Other than that, I think it was very well done.

I have used Mears in the past and also have used ME on this last trip to Disney in December. Traveling with a crowd of 9, it was nice. We had no problem with the ME and I have to say even though the ME is operated by Mears it was alot better. The only thing I could add is a downer is the pickup to return to the airport. You are there way-ahead-of time.
