So we are planning a 14 day (10 in parks) trip in early May 2019.

Should be a slower time of year. So I'm torn as to just buy tickets now and lock in at the current price or wait until the new pricing goes into effect and roll the dice that because it's a slower time of year, prices may be lower than current.

I should probably just assume that there is no way Disney actually lowers prices right and lock in now?

How about buying half the tickets now and half later?

I'm going to buy my tickets before the 16th. There's never been a price drop that I know of. I'm guessing they will make the lowest tickets a bit more than today's prices, then go up from there.

Buy now for the flexibility you might need. Even if they go down, it won't be by much (a few dollars). Is it worth the stress and potentially being wrong and stuck with the new inflexible tickets?
