Has any one ever stayed at the Celebration World Resort, taken a tour, know of any one that has stayed there? Are they located in the "city" of Celebration? They are now listed on hotelkingdom.com with approx. the same rates as Wyndham Palms. I was thinking about checking them out/staying there for Memorial Day weekend but for now I'm seeking some comments from anyone that has possibly stayed or visited.

TIA

Cinamin,

I, of course, have never stayed at Celebration. I was considering it, along with all the other two bedroom resort accommodatiosn, for my stay in May when I read your post for the Wyndam Palms and booked there.

During my recent research, all I was able to determine is that someone who visited the resort at the Celebration, thought the one bedroom was too small. Also, from their website I thought it was strange that find their proximity to the Wyndam Palms a selling point.

I am trying to book for Christmas and the Celebration is a tad less expensive than the Wyndam. For this reasom, I am trying to get a first hand opinion of the faciity.

Did you decide to stay at Celebration or the Wyndam for memorial weekend.

I hope someone sees this post and answers.

I also tried the Hilton Resorts for Christmas and they were so expensive. Also Vistana Villages.

It is funny, when I started learning about 2 bedroom villas in the Disney area, I was willing to spend 350 a night. Now that I found this Wyndam for 89.00 I have become greedy and find everything too expensive. LOL

ftmeyersgirl,
Thank you for your information. I want to stay in the $80-90 range for a 2 bedroom like you but for me only because I'm now unwilling to pay 60 bux for a hotel room when 90 bux gives you all that space in a villa using hotelkingdom's rates. I, as a single mom could not pay in the $350 a night range for a villa, I like to travel at least monthly so I try to limit what I spend for accomodations because I like to pay cash as much as possible. Wyndham Palms is more expensive than Celebration World during Memorial Day weekend otherwise I would have definately gone back to Wyhdham Palms. I am actually just going to stay home for Memorial weekend & may think about Celebration for Labor Day weekend instead. I may also look into Summer Bay depending on what they may be offering on SkyAuction.com. For about $195 + your winning bid amount can get you 7 nights stay according to the searching I've been doing on Sky Auction this week.

UKDEB,
Thank you for the link, I wish their site had more pictures of the resort or even a virtual tour.
