looking for old recipe - fake stuffed cabbage

I have been searching for an old recipe from my mom - from probably about 30 years ago. It was a dough which you rolled out and then covered with a ground beef mixture. You rolled it up and cut into 1 inch slices which were dropped into a boiling tomato sauce mixture with cabage pieces in it. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
