Looking for new camera....need help

I am going to Disney in June. Looking for a new camera. I currently have a 5 year old Kodak easyshare. Need to upgrade. I like to take sports pictures and low light pictures. I want a small compact camera with good zoom, battery life, and good shutter time. Suggestions welcome. I would love to see piccs taken with the cameras you suggest if possible. Thanks!

What type of sports pictures, and under what conditions. What you need to take shots of a 6 year olds soccer game in the bright sunlight, would be differen than what you need for an indoor HS gymnasitcs competition.

Also, when you say low light, are you talking long exposure low light or action low light?

I just bought a Panasonic Lumix FH20. It has a 8xzoom. I love it so far. I am not so good at posting pics but, I will try.
