Looking For Mickey Quest

View attachment 110180

SPOILER ALERT: The Disneyland "prize" is on the left (made of metal) and the DCA "prize" is on the right (made of plastic). They both come with lanyards.

Yup, these are the prizes and only one choice. These 'prizes' are not really something that we would normally purchase but we wanted to do the quest.

I have kind of a weird question. Are the hidden Mickeys ones that already existed, or have they been added just for this quest (like the Easter eggs)?

Thanks!

We started doing the DCA quest and found it easier to do because it didn't involve getting on rides. The hidden Mickeys that we found looks like they have already been there.

Thank you SO much for posting this! I think we will just buy one map and everyone participate in the hunt at Disneyland. I like the metal with the lanyard more than the plastic, plus I wanted to purchase a 60th Lanyard anyhow, so it works out. Thank you so very much again!

Thanks -- this helps a lot with my planning!

Did anyone else do the Hidden Mickey Quest last month? Our family tried it because we like trivia and Hidden Mickeys, but some of the questions defeated us. I accept that they didn't want to choose well known or easy to find Hidden Mickeys, but we felt some of their choices were almost impossible to spot or were questionable. It seems like once we found the answer it should have been a "There it is!" moment, but that wasn't always the case.

Many of the questions required going on an attraction or walking through the queue to find the answers. We didn't go on Roger Rabbit or over to Tom Sawyer's Island so did anyone find those answers?

Unlike the cute Hidden Easter Egg Hunt, which was fun for families, this one was definitely geared to adults.

Bumping this up.

purple figment, I merged your thread into the existing thread about the same subject.

I'm in the same boat as purple figment; I found some of the "Hidden Mickeys" while at DLR over the Anniversary weekend, but others stumped me. I spent some time looking on the Internet at the various Hidden Mickey sites to see if I could find the answers to the ones that I couldn't figure out. I suppose I could just start randomly guessing and scratching off answers until I find the right one, but I'd rather not do that! I'd love some hints/help (or even the answer). I'm also stuck on the Car-Toon spin (#3), Adventureland (#9), Deadman's Grotto (#13), and Mark Twain/Columbia (#15) ones in DL and the Mater's Junkyard Jamobree (#2), the Schmoozies (#9) and Monster's Inc (#10) ones in DCA.

Yeah, having now experienced what DLR would consider a "harder" quest, I think I liked the egg hunts much better. I remember originally thinking that having one easy and one hard egg hunt might be fun, but I no longer think that. Two "easy" family friendly quests seems much more fun and lighthearted.

How long does this last? I'm reading conflicting reports. I'm hoping through September?

I thought it was over at the end of July, but I don't know. I merged your thread into our existing Mickey Quest thread.

I read they extended the Quest past the end of July which is why I was hoping some more parkgoers had tried it.
