I loosely follow WW and I am tired of the same old things for lunch so I need some new ideas. I work, so I need things that can be refrigerated or microwaved and would love to hear your ideas. I need to get out of my lunch-time rut.

I don't know if I'll be much help as I'm a VERY new WWer. One week actually. Right now for lunch I have a turkey sandwich on light bread with 2% cheese, f/f mayo and mustard (3 points), baby carrots (0), and an apple (1). It's very filling and helps get in some of my fruits and veggies. ::yes:: Having a microwave will be really helpful for you, I'm sure others will have some suggestions for foods that you can heat up. Our one microwave at work is SO busy it's pretty much impossible to use it in the 30 minutes we have for our lunch break.

Hi Debbi!!!

I also have a sandwich (or 1/2), but I eat chicken. I use the 94-97% ff Butterball, Tyson or whatever brand, with reduced fat mayo, and light bread, either Wonder or Sara Lee. Also, 4 varities of Campbell's Soup at Hand are 1 pt. each: the 2 chicken varities and the 2 veg beef. I also (sometimes) include a fruit, 1/2-1 pt choice: 1/2 C canned mandarin oranges, or 1/2 C canned pineapple (both drained, in light syrup). Sometimes, I switch to tuna, or if I'm going out that night, I have my dinner salad for lunch, with the 1 pt soup. In the summer, my fruit choices change also, especially to watermelon! Also, if you like peanut butter, and can get by with 1/2 sandwich, 1 tbsl PB on one slice of lite bread is 2.5 pts I think. Yum!

Lots more ideas, those are just the ones I thought of right away.

I do WW poins. For lunch I have a bag of salad with 1/2 oz of slivered almonds (2pts) 1/3 cup craisins (2pts) a couple tomatoes and fat free Italian dressing (0 pts). I also have a lean cuisine frozen lunch (no more than 4 or 5 pts). I have found some that are 2 pts. I have either sugar free jello for dessert or a WW chocolate cake or carrot cake (1pt)

Hope this helps you. It fills me up and stays with me for a while. I also try to eat evry 2 hours. This past week it paid off with a 6 lb loss.

Any suggestion you have I am interested as well. I am doing this on my own and am down over 40lbs with a long way to go.

I have raisin bran, cranberry juice and coffee before leaving for work
I bring grapes, apple and a yogurt to work and pick on throughout the day
I take my break at 240 after DS gets home from school (there's a gap btwn 240-330 when DH gets home from work so thats when I take my break)
On my break I have sugar-free jello

I'm not sure how this works on the point system, but Wendys actually has chili, which has 220 calories and 6 grams of fat.

Hmmm I think i'll have that for lunch today actually!

I generally do the lean cuisine meals for lunch (they have the weight watchers points on the side of the box). I try to stay at the 4 - 5 point range for those & then I bring a little salad with it (with lite italian dressing = 1 tbsp is 1/2 point). I usually have a fat free jello pudding (devils food) for dessert about an hour before I leave work (2 points) so that I don't feel the need to raid the fridge when I get home.

You can also try www.dwlz.com for some good recipes, and good WW advice ( and it also has the points for most major restaurants)

Good luck!

Kim-
Thanks for posting that link! I am going to start counting points tomorrow and that really helped!

Which lean cuisine's are only 2 pts?

I haven't found any 2 point Lean Cuisines, but the LC Chicken Marsala is 3 points. I have had a bunch that are 4 points. I like to have them with some carrot sticks or celery for 0 points. I also like Campbells Select Soups. Chicken with Egg Noodles is 2 points. Subway has a bunch of low cal 6 inch subs that are pretty decent point wise. And McDs, BK, Wendys,....... all have salads that aren't too bad as long as you skip their dressing or ask for whatever they have low cal. Just a few more ideas! :D
