Hi all! We are heading over to the World late tonight (after all of our football games today). My birthday is Tuesday and my DH asked where I wanted to go to dinner. I've always loved the Kona (and absolutely adore the theming at the Ploy) for breakfast, but have never eaten dinner there. We have PS for tomorrow nite. Tell me, what it's like for dinner? Will I enjoy it as much for dinner as I do for breakfast?

Thanks!

Lissa

We too love breakfast there but only in the last couple of years did we finally try dinner there. It is excellent. I usually order the mahi mahi which is fantastic...great vegetables with it. We've also enjoyed the prime rib (great horseradish sauce) and the tuna. Great desserts too.

Service is just as we've always found it in the am....fast and friendly. The prices are lower than meals of equivalent quality in the World probably because of the very casual nature of the restaurant.

We usually go there every trip. The food has been consistently very good. DH and I love the steak with onion rings on top, and I've had the steamed fish. The seafood pot stickers (dumplings) for an appetizer were exceptional --- a different flavor from usual. Hope you have a great time!

I think you will enjoy it! I just dined there this past week and my entree was the mahi mahi. If you like fish, order this! I agree with the other poster about the potstickers and the crabcake appetizer was good also.
And try the koko puffs for dessert- so good! They are like mini cream puffs filled with chocolate cream. DD ordered the kiddie "cone"- actually it should be called the "family" cone because its so big!Its a kids dream- icecream, candy, chocolate all in one dessert!

Thanks everyone. Rarely do I see reviews on this place for dinner (lots of breakfast, tho). I'm glad to see you've all enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to it. Off to pack now.

Thanks again!

Lissa
